I have been a Christian for around ten (10) years now. However, I have never shared the Gospel with anyone before, even when there were many opportunities presenting itself.

The reason for not sharing the Good News, was the fear of how my non-Christian friends will view me and how I will be rejected by them, later on.

Religious issues in school were considered sensitive, and all of them, had their different views and opinions on their beliefs. And, I was not just confident to present any of my own, even though I know and have the truth.

However, during my Connect Activities with my trainer, I was able to tell the Good News in story form, outlined in the Xee, without fear. The Xee stories and Gospel outline were not threatening, the “connecting hooks” that we were taught and reminded over and over again, during our semester training came in very useful, and gave me the avenue to tackle any questions from my non-Christian friends.

I enjoyed the “engaging questions” and the “stories” that were taught in Xee. They were realistic and interactive. It helps my friends to understand the Gospel. I feel privileged to be part of the first team of Xee-ers in my church, and now, I am well prepared to share with anyone I meet, without reservation.
