Xee at Emmanuel EFC, Wangsa Maju by Voon Yuen Woh

Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Wangsa Maju is completing their Xee semester training and when they complete the outstanding OJTs, they might land up being the first church in Malaysia to complete Xee at semester level.

They are led by the facilitators, David Low, James and Grace Tang and Mrs. Chew Poy Hoe.

Kim Kee, Wai Ping, Michael and Winson are being exposed to EE for the first time via Xee. Esther has previously learned the classical EE.

I had the privilege of joining them on Saturday August 2nd at the Chews’ residence and to teach the final Units.

They have combined some of the units in their teaching and have planned a 7 – week teaching schedule with 10 OJTs.

The session started at 2.30 pm and ended with dinner at a seafood restaurant. By the time I got back to Seremban it was about 9.30 pm.

The sessions were upbeat with a tea-break for fellowship and relaxation somewhere in the middle.

There was time set aside for questions and answers and we were also able to listen to some exciting testimonies from the students. Wai Ping shared how the Lord is using her to reach out to the students in her school and about her new confidence to share her faith.

The students also shared how they have grown closer to the Lord as a result of this Xee training.

David Low was the first member of the church to be trained in a clinic several years ago and because he returned to Emmanuel EFC and trained others, the EE ministry has taken root in the church with about 30 trained todate.

He is looking forward to train more and more of his church members in the future. Together with his faithful team of trainers and facilitators, their passion for equipping others and releasing them to share their faith is noteworthy and highly commendable.

I appreciate David for his leadership in the EE ministry at his church. I also congratulate him for his recent appointment as an elder of Emmanuel EFC.

We must work as long as it is day. For night comes, when no one can work (John 9:4).
